| A freestanding building created from a number of materials and functionally differentiated spaces, employing ferroconcrete frame construction with brickwork infill. The social hall on the ground floor is accessed from the street, and the chapel above it, from the terrace. On the side facing the street and attached to the social hall, is a prism-shaped tower with access to the floor on which the bell is housed. Behind the tower is a two-storey building with office space and living quarters. This work, in the spirit of rational Functionalism, represents one of the first modern sacred buildings in the Czech land. |
